Pat's Story
After graduating from PNHS, I went to Kalamazoo College. I married Jann Nielsen in my junior year and took a leave of absence. Jann earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota and we had two children, Carrie and Adam. Jann did a post-doc at MSU in East Lansing, then we moved to Kent, Ohio where Jann taught at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. I returned to college at Kent State and graduated in 1984.

ecticut, where Jann worked for Pfizer and our children completed high school. Carrie went on to Brown and Adam to the University of Maine.
Since then, we have lived in Brecksville, Ohio, Indianapolic, Indiana, and now in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Jann is working for Wyeth.
Both our children are married and we just became grandparents! Adam and his wife Christa had a daughter, Ella May, on August 22. We are thrilled. They live in Maine, so we don't see them as much as we'd like.
